Why Invasive Species Control Matters

Invasive Species: A Threat to Biodiversity

Invasive bullfrogs and red-eared sliders are causing widespread devastation across California ecosystems, posing a serious threat to native biodiversity. These invasive species have rapidly proliferated across the state, outcompeting and displacing native wildlife such as the California red-legged frog and the western pond turtle. Moreover, bullfrogs act as carriers for diseases like chytridiomycosis and Ranavirus, further compounding the ecological crisis. Urgent measures are imperative to curbbing the impact of these invaders and for safeguarding California's native wildlife and ecosystems from irreversible harm.

Our mission

Our primary mission is to combat invasive species, facilitate the resurgence of native wildlife populations, and revitalize degraded ecosystems across the Golden State.

As a 501(c)3 organization we are driven not by profit, but by a profound desire to restore degraded ecosystems and protect our planet's biodiversity
